Quick answer: OVOSIM is the cheapest eSIM for Armenia at every data size we compared, from €2.99 for 1GB to €29.99 for 20GB, on Vivacell and Ucom with hotspot allowed. Nomad is the next cheapest and has a 50GB option. Holafly and Airalo's unlimited plans suit heavy streamers but cost several times more. For Armenia plus Georgia or Azerbaijan, OVOSIM's Caucasus plan covers all three: 12GB for €14.99 across 51 countries.

This page is the full price comparison. For the general guide, see Best eSIM for Armenia.

The one thing that decides it

Every provider here works in Yerevan and on the main tourist routes. Armenia has good 4G on all three networks, and 5G in the capital.

What separates them is price for the data you need, and how long the plan lasts. Some cheap plans are only 3 days long, and the price gaps in Armenia are bigger than in most countries.

Price comparison by data size (October 2026)

Data OVOSIM Nomad Airalo Ubigi
1GB €2.99 (7 days) $6 (7 days) $5 (3 days) $8 (7 days)
3GB €5.99 (30 days) $12 (30 days) $15 (7 days) $16 (15 days)
5GB, 30 days €8.99 $24 $25 Not offered
10GB, 30 days €14.99 $27 $39 $29
20GB, 30 days €29.99 $37 $49 $39 (7 days, then 2Mbps)
50GB, 30 days Not offered $51 Not offered Not offered

Unlimited plans:

Length Holafly Airalo (3GB a day full speed, then 1Mbps)
3 days $19.90 $20.50
5 days $30.90 $31
7 days $39.50 $39
10 days $46.90 $47
15 days $63.50 $64
30 days $111.90 $99

Multi-country (Armenia plus Georgia, Azerbaijan and more):

Plan Price Countries
OVOSIM Caucasus 12GB, 30 days €14.99 51
OVOSIM Caucasus 24GB, 30 days €29.99 51
OVOSIM Caucasus 30GB, 365 days €42.99 51

The Caucasus plans cost the same as OVOSIM's Armenia 10GB and 20GB plans but give you 2GB or 4GB more, plus Georgia and Azerbaijan. The catch is that they start counting the day you install them.

Prices are from each provider's own site, esims.io and esimdb in October 2026, before promo codes. OVOSIM prices are in euros, the others in US dollars. They change often, so check before you buy.

Networks and hotspot

Provider Network in Armenia Hotspot
OVOSIM Vivacell and Ucom Allowed
Nomad Vivacell 5G, Team Telecom and Ucom 4G Not listed
Airalo Vivacell Allowed
Ubigi Not listed Not listed
Holafly Team Telecom and Vivacell Up to 1GB a day

Vivacell is Armenia's largest network, with the widest coverage. OVOSIM is the only provider here that lists both Vivacell and Ucom, so your phone can use whichever is stronger. For Yerevan, Garni, Sevan and Dilijan, you won't notice much difference between networks. On Mount Aragats and in remote Syunik, none are reliable.

Where each provider fits

OVOSIM

Best for: almost every Armenia trip, and anyone also visiting Georgia or Azerbaijan. The cheapest at every size from 1GB to 20GB, with 30 days of validity on 3GB and up, access to both Vivacell and Ucom, and hotspot allowed. 5GB for €8.99 is around a third of what Nomad and Airalo charge. Trade-off: no unlimited Armenia plan and nothing above 20GB. The Caucasus plan starts on install, so add it the day before you fly.

Nomad

Best for: very heavy users who want 50GB. A wide range of Armenia plans, all 30 days at 3GB and up, with Vivacell 5G listed. The 50GB plan for $51 is a good deal if you really need that much. Trade-off: costs well over double OVOSIM at 3GB to 10GB, a little more at 20GB, and hotspot rules aren't clear from its listings.

Airalo

Best for: people who already use the Airalo app. Familiar app, Vivacell network and hotspot allowed. Its Armenia plans are sold under the "Arpi Telecom" name. Trade-off: among the most expensive for fixed data, and the cheap plans are short (1GB is 3 days, 3GB is 7). Its "unlimited" plans slow to 1Mbps after 3GB a day.

Ubigi

Best for: a short trip if you already use Ubigi. Covers Armenia with 1GB, 3GB and 10GB options. Trade-off: the most expensive at the small sizes, and the network isn't listed.

Holafly

Best for: streaming every day and not counting data. Unlimited data on Team Telecom and Vivacell. Trade-off: $39.50 for a week and $111.90 for a month, against €14.99 for 12GB with OVOSIM's Caucasus plan. Hotspot is capped at 1GB a day.

Which one should you pick?

Your trip Pick Why
Weekend in Yerevan OVOSIM 1GB or 3GB Cheapest, and 3GB lasts 30 days
One to two weeks in Armenia OVOSIM Armenia 5GB Around a third of the price of most others
Two weeks or more, heavier use OVOSIM Caucasus 12GB Same price as 10GB, with more data
Armenia and Georgia OVOSIM Caucasus 12GB One eSIM across both countries
All three Caucasus countries OVOSIM Caucasus 24GB Covers the full loop
A month, very heavy use Nomad 50GB The only big plan here
Streaming every day Holafly unlimited True unlimited, if you'll use it

What to check before buying any Armenia eSIM

  • Validity, not just price. A $5 plan for 3 days isn't cheap on a week-long trip.
  • What "unlimited" means. Some plans slow to 1Mbps or 2Mbps after a daily or total cap.
  • When the plan starts. Some start on install, some on first use.
  • Georgia. Most Armenia trips include Georgia. A single-country plan stops at the border.
  • Hotspot. Check it's allowed if you'll use a laptop.
